We’re here to help

Caring for our Oma (German for grandmother) showed us both the good and the bad of care. We were saddened to see the gradual loss of independence that developed through the accrual of preventable illnesses/events. This inspired us to create HomaCare, a domiciliary care service with care at it’s heart and a unique focus on independence through prevention.

We've built a service with your loved one at its centre. By collaborating with you and them, we aim for lasting independence and health. With consistent, engaged carers and our discreet health monitoring and analysis tools, we provide care that goes beyond each individual visit, helping your loved one stay happy, healthy, and at home.

    Helen Maxwell

    Director and Registered Manager

    Helen, our Director and Registered Manager, was inspired by her mother’s unmet care needs to establish a service prioritising individualised support and prolonged independence. She champions technology to enhance care, enabling clients to live happily and healthily at home.

    Max Crane DPhil

    Research and Development / Administrator

    Max leads our research and development, advancing our health data science for better home care, a mission driven by his grandmother's experiences. He also manages initial client enquiries and ensures smooth administration. Max holds a doctorate in Neuroscience from the University of Oxford.

    Sumana Shrestha PhD

    Deputy Manager

    Sumana, our Deputy Manager, is dedicated to an individualised approach to care, ensuring our services are enhanced by the latest scientific findings for exceptional client outcomes. A graduate-entry medical student, she holds a PhD in Cancer Biology from the Institute of Cancer Research, University of London.
